Introducing Pinetree Agent

The Hidden Cost of Operating Software

We spend too much of modern life operating software.

Work gets trapped inside portals, dashboards, spreadsheets, internal tools, and legacy systems that still depend on humans clicking through repetitive workflows. Entire teams spend their days moving data between interfaces, submitting forms, checking statuses, and recovering from broken processes.

That should not be the future.

A Browser Agent for Real-World Tasks

Pinetree Research was founded to solve a simple but neglected problem: intelligence is no longer the bottleneck. Execution is.

The world’s leading AI labs have made extraordinary progress in reasoning. Models can explain workflows, draft responses, and understand complex instructions. But knowing how to complete a task is different from actually completing it. The gap between “the model understands the workflow” and “the workflow was reliably completed in production” remains largely unsolved.

Pinetree Research exists to close that gap.

The Execution Layer for AI

We build computer-use agents that operate software the way humans do — through browsers, portals, desktop interfaces, and systems with no APIs. If a person can complete the task on a screen, a Pinetree agent can learn to execute it with speed, consistency, and auditability.

This matters because much of the real economy still runs on interfaces never designed for automation.

Healthcare teams work through payer portals. Finance teams navigate compliance systems. Legal teams submit filings through outdated platforms. Operations teams reconcile data across fragmented software stacks. These workflows are high-value, repetitive, and expensive to scale — yet they remain outside the reach of traditional automation.

We are building the execution layer for that world.

Proof Through Benchmarks

Our early benchmark results reflect the architecture behind the system. Pinetree Agent achieves leading performance across major computer-use evaluations, including 95% on WebVoyager and 90% on Online-Mind2Web, surpassing leading frontier systems on real browser tasks. These results are not the product. They are evidence that reliable execution is becoming technically possible.

What Comes Next

We believe every workflow that currently requires a human to sit in front of a computer will eventually be handled by autonomous execution systems by default. Not just the easy workflows with APIs. The hard ones with brittle interfaces, fragmented systems, and no room for error.

Pinetree Research is building the most reliable computer-use agents in the world, deployed where execution matters most.

Roadmap

We are starting with browser-native workflows because that is where operational bottlenecks live today: payer portals, compliance systems, vendor dashboards, internal tools, and legacy software environments.

From there, we are expanding toward full desktop systems, multi-application workflows, and broader operating environments where real work still depends on human clicks.

Our long-term goal is simple: if a human can complete the workflow on a screen, a Pinetree agent should be able to execute it reliably at scale.

Human + Agent Cooperation

Autonomous systems should not remove human judgment. They should eliminate repetitive execution.

Pinetree agents are built for collaboration: humans define objectives, review exceptions, and retain control. Agents handle the repetitive work with speed, consistency, and traceability.

The future is not replacement. It is leverage.
